IRC

This comprehensive code compiles all building, plumbing, mechanical, fuel, gas, and electrical requirements for non-commercial, one and two family dwellings, in one convenient code. The regulations cover dwellings and townhouses up to three stories.

The IECC addresses energy conservation requirements for all aspects of energy uses in both commercial and residential construction, including heating and ventilating, lighting, water heating, and power usage for appliances and building systems.
