Alamosa, CO – The Alamosa Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating two individuals reported missing on the evening of May 17, 2026.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Murphy Drive following reports that Jenayalee Valdez (21) had not returned home. Investigation revealed that Ms. Valdez was last seen in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 16th, leaving her residence on foot. She was last known to be wearing a black jacket and blue pants.

Authorities are also looking for David Brown (25), who was reportedly in Ms. Valdez’s company at the time of her disappearance. Mr. Brown was last seen on Friday, May 15th, and is believed to be wearing dark clothing. Neither individual has access to a vehicle, and both are believed to be traveling on foot.

Both individuals have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as missing persons. While there is no immediate evidence of foul play, family members of both parties have expressed concern as this lack of communication is out of character for them.
