Alamosa, CO –  As part of the Pike Avenue Reconstruction Project, Gardner Excavating will be installing a new water main, which will require two separate water shut-offs. The outages are expected to affect areas along Pike Avenue, Crestone Avenue, and the adjacent area along Highway 160.

Outage Schedule:

Phase 1: Water will be shut off at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th, with service anticipated to be restored by 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18th.

Phase 2 (Extended Outage): Water will be shut off again at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th, and service is expected to be restored by approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19th.

This disruption may cause temporary discoloration of tap water due to sediment in the water lines being disturbed during the shut-off and restoration process. The water remains safe to use. If your water appears tinted, please run cold water through a large faucet (such as a bathtub) until it clears.
